Disaster Recovery
The Department of Finance and Administration is responsible for providing services which are vital to the operations of the State of Arkansas. Because of the criticality of these services, DFA must insure that daily operations continue, especially in the event of a disaster. The DFA Disaster Recovery Section is charged with assisting the DFA offices with developing, maintaining and testing viable continuity of operations (COOP) plans. In the event of a natural or man-made disaster, COOP plans provide detailed guidance to lead offices through the tough decisions accompanying an emergency, and back to normal operations.
